Wendell Nelson and Charles Amussen both of Logan plead guilty to the hitchhike robbery of Pred Meese an 18 year old Inkom Idaho college student. Judge Oscar W McConkie postponed sentencing to Feb 3 pending parole and probation review. The charge carries five years to life imprisonment. They forced Meese to drive to Jordan Narrows south of Salt Lake City and then abandoned him.
