Pioneer Dies At Age 71 In Lund Utah
John Yost aged 71 of Lund Utah died in a local hospital after a lingering illness. Born in Switzerland in 1877 he emigrated to the United States in 1896 and settled in Lund in 1897. He married Rosetta Gerberg in Logan temple in 1898 and was an LDS church member and missionary to Switzerland. Survived by eight children fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. funeral Saturday at 1 pm in Lund LDS ward with interment in Lund cemetery.

14 Year Old Kills Mother and Brother in Lewiston

Mexican Kills Two Women With Hammer and Axe
Victoriano Corrales, a 48 year old day laborer, is charged with murder in the deaths of Alberto Gomez and Maria Pulido both in their twenties from Irapuato Mexico. Authorities say Corrales killed each woman after she threatened to leave him, returning to Mexico twice with another girl. He admitted the killings.
