Laborer to President at Baltimore and Ohio Railroad

Oscar Murray ends fourteen years as president of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and becomes chairman of the executive board. German gyroscope car arrives for United States exhibition

Emil Falcke Emil Sussermann and ten engineers fly in with the German gyroscope wonorail car sent by August Scherr owner of Lokal Anzeiger Berlin. The 20 by 4 foot car carries ten people and spins at 8000 rpm. An independent motor powers the device and it can reach 35 mph.

New Time Card on the Short Line Next Sunday

A new time card on the Short Line takes effect at midnight Sunday with major schedule changes. Trains No 5 No 3 No 13 No 1 No 7 No 9 No 8 No 14 No 6 No 10 No 4 No 2 No 113 and No 24 adjust arrival and departure times and service roles. No 9 and No 10 become fast mail trains carrying no passengers while limits 5 and 6 operate as the limited services.

They took about 8 in small change from two registers, two revolvers, gold plated safety razors, cigars, toilet water, and assorted merchandise.
