Rogers backs Ford with 100 dollar pledge at tax hearing

Will Rogers told attorneys at a $30,000,000 Ford tax suit he would invest $100 in Henry Ford’s company now. He praised Ford and said he would tell Ford of his plan that afternoon as A. W. Gress warned of possible subpoenas. Rogers noted Rosetta V. Hauss profited from Ford stock in 1903 and 1919.

Falls From Roof of His Building

Robert F. Wolfe publisher of the Columbus Dispatch and the Ohio State Journal was killed today after falling from the roof of the Dispatch building. A banker and shoe manufacturer, he reportedly became dizzy before dropping from the five story height to the street below.
