Bridge Initiative Moves to Span Snake River
An informal Commercial club meeting at Bannock hotel last night approved constructing the Tilden bridge to connect Pocatello with lands across the Snake River. Officials expect half the $16,000 cost from Bingham county and the other half from Pocatello interests. A signatory list and committee were formed to secure remaining funds and arrange county road work, with further actions to gain county commissioners’ backing and to place Helena delegates for the National Woolgrowers’ convention.
