New York January 6. The sole A Curtis known on the stock exchange is Allen Curtis of the firm Curtis and Sanger in New York.

A Pocatello Shrine club meeting chaired by Noble A C Hinckley elected an entertainment committee to arrange a Shrine ball and a group attendance with wives at the Elks play The Promoter on Monday night at the Auditorium. The club foresees active Shrine social events this winter.

Philadelphia police report that evidence from Bernard Lewis’s body and belongings links him to Mazie Colbert’s murder in Atlantic City. Elwood Powell identified Lewis as the man taken to the Colbert apartment and hair and clothing matchings strengthen the case. Boise January 6 Major DeWitt P Olson and Lieutenant L E B Lundburg were ordered by Colonel W H Edleblute to Idaho Falls to arrange the transfer of Company M of Emmett to that city. The move follows earlier transfers and the regiment's efforts to balance manpower across Idaho towns. Physical exams are under way at Boise barracks with the measles quarantine lifted.
