Death of Stephen Egan in Ward County North Dakota

Mrs. T H Kane in this city learns of the death of her brother Stephen W Egan near Tagus North Dakota just before Christmas. Egan a former Tribune staffer later worked at Glenns Ferry and then moved to Ward County where he perished from exposure after wandering the hills through the night while guarding a sleigh. The body was found four miles from his home and an inquest was to be held. He was 40 and a brother of the Tagua Mirror editor. Funeral held at the Catholic church in Sisseton last Monday.
