Dynamite Plot In Pennsylvania And New York

Pittsburg reports arrest of George Bridges at Monessin Pa with 72 sticks of dynamite and fuse in a suitcase. Eight thousand non union workers employed in the Monessin mills. In Rochester two dozen sticks of dynamite with caps and fuse found in a travelling bag like case in barns of McDonald Hartman supply dealers. Dynamite near Pittsburg and Sine railroad bridge alleged to be planted by McNamaras agents.

Grand jury subpoenas broaden Seattle ties in dynamiting probe

Los Angeles December 27 The federal grand jury resumed the dynamiting conspiracy investigation and issued six subpoenas for Seattle area witnesses. George Haley Seattle Pile Drivers union business agent is named among those summoned, alongside others linked to Caplan and Schmidt. Paul Scharrenburg state federation of labor secretary testified today as the panel adjourned until tomorrow.

Explosion Hits House During Police Search in Buffalo

Policeman William Hearn and John Flynn were searching a Buffalo house early today for Paul Lutz suspected of assaulting a woman when an explosion wrecked the building. Both officers were thrown clear. the woman was injured but later reported safe.
