Field Marshal von Hindenburg telegraphed the Berlin government stating plans to form a new front six miles behind the armistice line. The government is asking for an explanation while Copenhagen reports Berlin cabal resignations under Ebert with no confirmation.
A Central News dispatch from Copenhagen reports a Berlin based People’s league organized with members including Prince Maximilian of Baden Hugo Hasse Count von Bernstorf Mathias Erzberger Dr Solf former foreign minister Prince von Hohenlohe-Schillings-Furst Austrian ambassador and Cardinal von Hartmann archbishop of Cologne. Amsterdam reports German foreign office leaders strike over acceptance of Dr Solf’s resignation as foreign minister.
Francis O'Silk O'Loughlin, famed American League umpire, died in Keston today after a brief illness from influenza pneumonia.
