Martin Pehrson Dies Here Today
Martin O. Pehrson 42 of Virginia Idaho died this morning at a local hospital after a long illness. Born in Melville Utah he came to Idaho forty years ago and lived with his father N O Pehrson at 1134 North Main. He is survived by two children Martin and Ramona in San Francisco and five brothers Nels Carl Axel Joseph LeRoy all of Pocatello. The body is with Hall mortuary with funeral arrangements to be announced.

In Twin Falls Idaho on December 14 the jury selection remains incomplete in the first degree murder case against Lewis Carl Hunter 49 charged in the death of R C Letsch 54 at a farm near town. Judge William A Babcock presiding. A special venue and six more jurors were ordered after the tenth peremptory challenge. Three prospective jurors were excused over death penalty objections. Hunter's lawyer E L Rayborn of Twin Falls was appointed. Hunter had previously worked for Letsch.
