Sheriff Bailey Takes Adams to Wallace for Murder Trial

Boise Idaho Aug 1 Sheriff Bailey of Shoshone county and Deputy Harvey Bostwick left for Wallace with Steve Adams to face a second trial for the murder of Fred Tyler on the St Joe river in August 1904. Adams had confessed to McParland and later repudiated the confession.

Pocatello Labor Council Schedules Joint Labor Day Meet

A special meeting of the Pocatello Trades and Labor council is set for tonight at 8 in the L. D. D. amusement hall to plan a joint Labor Day celebration with the Mackay Miners union. Ike Trope urges all delegates to attend as Mackay miners plan to come 300 strong if arrangements allow 325 in purses for events.

Miner Strike Leader Urges Armed Stand in Minnesota Districts

Duluth Minnesota August 1 1920 Operations resumed in Hibbing and Evelyn ore districts without violence this morning but a speech by Strike Leader Petriella at Chisholm last night warned miners to arm themselves and be prepared to strike to kill. He urged twenty four hours to demand justice or strike at the head of any oppressor.

Two Korean Princes Seek U S Intervention in Korea Crisis

Prince Tsyong Oui Yi and Prince Yi Sang Suk, two Korean delegates who were denied entry to the Hague peace talks, arrived in Salt Lake City en route to Washington. The Idaho Express began its maiden run from Pocatello to Huntington at 2:10 am with No. 3 westbound and No. 4 eastbound schedules. Lost Boy Reunited With Mother After Depot Rescue

A small boy was found roaming the Short Line depot trains and aided by Depot Officer Edgiey. He wandered downtown, befriended Expressman James Davidson, who searched for the mother. A resident at Clark and Second Avenue claimed him and the boy cried as he was returned to the woman.

Thaw selects new lawyer for White murder trial

Martin W. Littleton of Brooklyn has been chosen by Harry K. Thaw to conduct the next trial for the killing of Stanford White. Littleton's fee is reported at 25000 dollars.
