Liquor Case Trials Await Counsels In Bannock County
A pending selection of counsels leaves 29 defendants who pleaded not guilty awaiting arraignment before Justices Ryan and Hyde on charges of selling intoxicating liquor in Bannock County. Trials expected to be set in early part of next week. Thomas Echeverria of the Bar-B-Q Inn pleaded guilty and faces sentence Monday in Judge Hyde's court. George R. Jennings and Wayne R. Leffler allegedly bought liquor from 21 establishments. 20 pints and one quart were placed in county custody. The filings follow activities of the Law and Order league formed about five weeks ago.

Train Derailment West of Rupert on Union Pacific Line
A two car Union Pacific passenger train derailed and overturned about 10 miles west of Rupert on the Rupert Bliss cut off at 3 30 this afternoon. Engineer J Grant of Minidoka reported with slight injuries and the fireman was unharmed. The passenger car remained on the tracks. Cause is not yet determined and a Pocatello wrecking crew works to right the locomotives and baggage car.

Noted Violinist Fritz Kreisler Injured In Auto Crash
New York April 26 Fritz Kreisler the 66 year old violinist lay unconscious in Roosevelt Hospital after being struck by a vehicle. Doctors reported a severe head injury possibly a skull fracture but described his general condition as good with normal vital signs. He was mood bruised on the head and will undergo a 72 hour observation. The accident occurred at Fifty seventh Street and Madison Avenue as Kreisler left his home for Carnegie Hall.
