Auto Victim's Condition Remains Poor
Salt Lake City Ethel Redfield 72 Idaho educator injured in a traffic accident last Friday night remained in very poor condition at Holy Hospital today. She suffered a fractured pelvis fractured left hip head injuries and cuts when struck by an automobile. Lorene Hendricks 52 and Norma Nes 38 both Pocatello teachers were injured in the same crash as they crossed a downtown street attending an international education conference. Iss Barnes was treated and released. Hendricks's condition was listed as good thereafter.

Three Hunt Workers At Atom Plant Arrested In Idaho
Walter Foust 32 Richard Foust 21 and Mal Blinn 21 were arrested near the Green Triangle early today on vagrancy charges while hoping for work at the southeastern Idaho atomic reactor plant. Walter Foust had a four year penitentiary term in Ohio. Police Judge Bistline ordered proceedings.

Utah Power rate hike case opens in Idaho hearing
The Idaho Public Utilities Commission opened a two day hearing on Utah Power and Light’s request for a roughly nine percent rate increase. J. A. Collision Marks Minor Damage From Hayes and Fremont Crash
Two 1946 cars collided at Hayes and Fremont injuring no one. Driver Manassa Williams aged 68 from 331 South Grant ran north on Hayes while William Markham 14 from 444 South Johnson drove east on Fremont. Williams’ vehicle sustained front end damage while Markham’s sedan had a damaged right rear fender door vent and wheel.

County Seeks Bids for Bannock Hospital Project
Bannock county commissioners authorize advertising for bids to build a new hospital costing 900000 dollars. Freight Kills 10 On Truck in Tennessee Crash
A fast freight train struck a churchgoing truck at the Gordonaville Lancaster road crossing near Carthage Tennessee killing 10 people nine from one family and injuring another. The truck burst into flames and was dragged 100 yards along the tracks before a locomotive could stop. Lago resident travels 45 miles to court for traffic ticket
