Well-known telegraph operator dies on train near Mountain Home
Charles A. Young a Western Union operator well known in Pocatello died suddenly on a westbound passenger near Mountain Home Sunday morning. He had left telegraph work in Kemmerer and was en route to Boise to visit relatives after seeking medical advice for asthma. Death was abrupt with coughing and spitting blood after a drink at the water cooler. He was about 28 and a cousin of Fay A. Young of Horse City. The body was sent to Horse City for funeral services.
