Dogs Cause Complaints In Northside Neighborhood

John S Holt at 1546 North Harrison reports a vicious dog at 1146 North Harrison attempted to bite him and his young son. Mrs Halleen Robinson of 521 East Dunn says a dog owned by residents at 625 South Third threatened her until called away by a girl. Mrs Rose Price at 1405 North Garfield complains a pack of neighborhood dogs damaged flowers and shrubs. Cases turned over to Pound master S M Cook for investigation.

Storm Brings Moisture. Farmers Hopeful in Bannock County

County extension agent Wm Dean Boyle reports the recent severe snow storm provides needed moisture for Bannock County farms. He says the growing season is not yet advanced enough for crop damage and the moisture will benefit the land.

Chapter Members Prepare to Confer R A M Degree in Twin Falls

The Twin Falls R A M class will receive the degree next Saturday under local officers led by H P C E Rush. Nearly 1,000 Los Angeles residents employed by the same firm 25 years or more were honored by the chamber of commerce. Harry Chandler received a scroll for 55 years of service as Times chairman. Elsie Steen Kelsey had 47 years with her insurance company.

City Council Meeting Postponed To Thursday at 7:30

City clerk J Ward Green announced this afternoon that tonight’s city council meeting is postponed until Thursday at 7 30 p m due to the absence of councilmen J P Halliwell and C A Carmack. Bids for the new sewage disposal plant will be opened then in the police station courtroom.

Southeastern Clubs Elect New Officers and Resolutions

The first district Federation of Women's Clubs met in the Congregational church for its second day of sessions. Officers elected include President Fuller Woodie of Albion and vice presidents Ray Thomas of St Anthony and G A Gates of Twin Falls. A resolution urged American women to support world peace and national security. Eighty-nine ballots were cast from 106 delegates.

Approximately 200 members from Idaho and Utah attended the Idaho state camp of Royal Neighbors of America for its quadrennial meeting in Twin Falls. State Proposes Military Road From Idaho to Oregon

Boise April 16 Acting Highway Director S E Johnson said Idaho plans a military road from Weldon to Huntington Oregon on the Idaho side of the Snake River. The 18 mile route has been surveyed and engineers are preparing plans and estimates. The project includes a new bridge near Olds Ferry and will cost about half a million dollars.

Crash Kills Two in Wyoming Plane Wreck

The burned bodies of Charles B. Owen and Stanley Jamelier were recovered from Pass Creek ridge after their small monoplane crashed Monday. Wyoming highway crews dug through deep snow to reach the wreckage sighted from a transport plane. Owen, a prominent highway contractor, co-owned the plane.
