Frankfort Ky April 16 Henry Youtsey state witness in the Howard trial testified that Governor Taylor directed all actions and that the pardon board supported them. He claimed Taylor and others used him as a scapegoat and deserted him when trouble began.
Attorney Eugene A. Philbin releases findings alleging interurban lease inflated costs. Report claims Metropolitan Street Railway overstated cash outlays from 1898 to 1901 per stockholders’ suit and state filings, with millions diverted.
