A jury in Emmett Idaho found John C McClurg guilty of first degree murder in the December slaying of his wife Mary and fixed the penalty at death. Injured Man in Auto Crash Near Pocatello

One death in hospital fire at Irvington Cardiac Home
In Irvington New York an employee died after a fire destroyed the Irvington House Cardiac Home for children with heart disease.
