Women Prefer Jail To Leaving City In Court Ruling
Police Judge John W. Peter ordered Helen Patton and Grace Watson to sixteen and one third days in city jail after they said they would serve fines rather than exit the city. They were fined 25 each for vagrancy, suspended on condition they depart by Wednesday evening. A colored woman named Bessie Hall was arrested for disorderly conduct and released on a $25 bond. her trial was moved to Friday.

James Mayes was arrested on a complaint sued by Judge O J Bell for battery on Mrs Haas. He will face arraignment tomorrow in Judge Bell s court. Mrs Manuel Hella of Shoshone Idaho entered a local hospital yesterday afternoon for an operation. Mrs Neeser of Inkom wife of Al Neeser was ill at home after being seriously injured in an accident two weeks ago and Neeser remains confined in a local hospital. Morris Pokibro an Indian from Fort Hall reservation who broke his jaw earlier and had cast removed was returned to hospital after removing the jaw cast again. Fred Hartman of the Terrell hotel sought medical treatment at a local hospital. Mrs L E Allen of 1524 East Street is reported under doctor care at home.
