County Assessor George W Allen says the Idaho State Tax Commission will meet Friday April 8 in Pocatello to resolve a dispute with the U P railroad over reported mileage and taxed property. Allen contends the railroad should be taxed on 3.15 to 5 miles of city trackage rather than 2.66 miles and that taxes are due on outlying houses and warehouses.
