Fort Hall Voters Endorse Self Government Plan

Indians of the Fort Hall reserve voted 358 to 86 to accept a self-government proposal from the Department of Indian Affairs. About 46 percent of 990 qualified voters participated despite a snowstorm, led by reservation superintendent F A Gross.
