Plans Move To Trim State Guard

Idaho governor confirms formal approval of a national guard reorganization to cut actual strength from 5000 to 3500 while the air unit remains unchanged. The move follows national guard bureau plans and compares Idaho’s size to Nebraska’s, with officials noting the system was too large for the state's population. Brig. Gen.
