Columbia River Basin Irrigation Needs Spotlighted
Boise based Idaho reclamation engineer Mark R. Kulp said the army engineers plan for the Columbia river basin stresses irrigation needs both now and in the future. The $3 billion program covers the entire basin and will be reviewed with the reclamation bureau plan. Kulp noted no time was available for committee comments at the Portland meeting.
