Mud and Water Flood Homes North of Pocatello
A Fort Hall irrigation mishap sent four times too much water into an irrigation ditch and flooded homes near Hawthorne road and Quinn avenue. The Hale house and four Hale apartments suffered basement floods with damage estimated near 400 to 500 dollars, plus other local homes. Residents used pumps to remove mud, sand, and water as gardens and landscaping were washed out.
