District Judge A H Ellett postponed the verdict on the perjury case against former road commission chairman Ray H Leavitt to Saturday. Leavitt’s lawyers sought more time to file a brief on a point of law. Leavitt allegedly perjured testimony before a Salt Lake grand jury last fall in relation to official acts, not personal gain.
