Bannock farmers must report ACA 1948 practices by Jan 15
Bannock County farmers who carried out conservation practices in 1948 under the Agricultural Conservation program must report each project to the county ACA committee by January 15 to qualify for payment. ACA chairman S LeRoy Salveson notes many reports have been filed but several remain outstanding. Reports show practices include noxious weed control seeding permanent pasture and irrigation system reorganizations, with the federal government covering about half the cost.
