Big Goods Demand In Future
Washington reports Leon Keyserling, advisor to President Truman, says national output must rise 3 to 4 percent annually to keep a growing population fed and employed. He cites a second quarter GNP drop to 256 billion and projects a 80 to 100 billion rise in ten years while Truman envisions well over 300 billion soon. Federal Reserve data shows business loans up 80 million in the week ending Aug 10.
