Uranium In New Fields Near Ontario Border
SAULT STE MARIE Ont UP New discoveries of uranium in five snow blanketed areas northwest of this border town indicate that two large fields miles apart may be linked, says Hank Joubin a top authority. The first major uranium finds of the year in the area suggest large ore bearing zones between the Jalore and Camray strikes as prospectors prepare to reach rugged Lake Superior Ontario territory beyond the Algoma central railroad. Snow and wind hindered many last fall but renewed efforts continue into the winter landscape.
