Two Story Stone Building to Rise on Main Street

Ground is to be broken next week for a two story stone building on Main Street by Hodges Codk & Co. The structure measures forty by thirty by 130 feet, runs from Main to McCannon, and will house Pioche’s largest general merchandise stock. Separately, promising gold ore finds near the Silver Peak mine yield $30 per ton assays up to $250 per ton, with a hoist planned by President McSherry and ongoing developments.
