Salt Lake Route boosts western mining camps and cities

A year after the Salt Lake Route connected Salt Lake City with Los Angeles, rail traffic and freight have surpassed expectations. The line spurs revival in mining camps along its path including Caliente Las Vegas Searchlight Nippeno Crescent Pioche and Delamar, with growing mining supplies and smelter deliveries in Salt Lake Valley.
