Three miles from the Illinois shore near Yaboki a full blooded Osage chief named Moehoo lives a wandering life. Born in Mississippi country, he is over one hundred years old, famed for extraordinary strength and feats. He once lifted two 200 pound sacks and carried a 800 pound pork barrel along a road. He has fought tribes, hunted bears, and remains a legendary figure in the American bottom regions near St. Louis despite his violent past and precarious living.
