Water restored after freeze cripples town pipes
The Nevsole-Utah M. and S. Corporation crews, led by Superintendent Freudenthal, thawed frozen pipes enabling water to flow again. Pipes laid 38 years ago under ground now leak heavily and cannot sustain pressure, promising extensive replacements next year as two thirds of water is lost to leaks. Many service lines froze during a ten day cold spell and may not thaw until spring.
