On a river camping trip Alf Dixon Tom Giffard and I meet a quiet stranger who turns out to be Lucian Travers father of Lilian Travers. Aboard the boat the man reveals a dangerous temper while the trio misreads him as a lunatic from Dr Rawle asylum. After a struggle on shore the truth emerges and they apologize. the three men vow to remember the mistaken encounter.
