Development at the Alps mine east of Pinehe progresses with ten tons of ore ready for shipment. Assays show gold 6 dollars, silver 48.2 ounces, lead 40.5 percent. A widened vein and a new raise suggest milling ore around 20 dollars per ton in value. Plansunderway for porphyry dike contact prospecting.
Weather and crop notes show warm, dry conditions aiding potato digging haying and stock movement while rain is still needed for pastures winter feeding and plowing.
