Prince Consolidated reports April ore shipments and Bullionville mill plan

The Prince Consolidated Mining and Smelting Co shipped 14 072 tons of ore in April, averaging 469 tons per day. A new Bullionville mill has its equipment ordered, with construction let to A M MacDonald of Salt Lake. Tailings dumps at Bullionville and Dry Valley hold about 139 000 tons, to be treated at 200 tons daily. A 5000-foot spur from Caliente and Piece RR to Dry Valley may be built to transport ore to Bullionville for milling. Toche-Belstol Mining crews led by Harry L Parker work at Jack Rabbit properties.

Nevada Licenses Show Automobiles Dominate by County

Before April 12, 1916 Nevada issued 2795 automobile and 128 motorcycle licenses per a Secretary of State compilation listing licenses by county and resident owners. Washoe led in totals with 798 autos and 69 motorcycles. Elko second with 243 autos and 6 motorcycles. Churchill 142 autos and 12 motorcycles. Clark 184 autos and 2 motorcycles. other counties listed smaller counts.

Pioche Pupils Entertain Old and Young at School House

Fifth and sixth graders hosted seventh and eighth graders at Pioche public school Friday afternoon. After games, ice cream and cake were served. Miss Eva Cook praised the visitors in brief remarks. Caliente teachers Miss Culverwell and Miss Reilly were visitors this week.

Court Officials Roused By Mining Ground Dispute

A morning disturbance near the courthouse stemmed from a mining ground dispute in the Comet district. Dr. T. O. Duckworth sues C. B. Moulton Wred Stephenson and Chas Belndde to determine ownership of Sor bore np and other lode claims. Moulton and Stephenson allegedly posted notices and began extraction after forfeiture. FP W Dickle filed a claim for 265.06 for sale of lint on Oct 1 1806 though county conveyed to W EB Onr in 1906. He seeks principal 125 interest 79.95 taxes 41.96 and interest on taxes 14.26. He claims lack of awareness of conditions until six weeks ago.

Tin Discovery At Ts Eeywood Ridge Draws Nevada Interest

A town party including Dr W B Wells Karl Mitellel CLUT Good and a Scout representative toured the Isonwood tin discovery twenty miles north of a tile mountain. I B Brooks owns the claims and the site is noted as one of the few tin occurrences in the western hemisphere Cassiterite shows along the east west ridge four miles long rising 400 feet above the valley. Placers and seams of cassiterite are found along the ridge and its gulches.

Delmar Involved In Severe Auto Accident
