The Amalgamated Piobe Mines and Smelters corp under Suprenindent Van Wagenen is shaping up for production on its properties with mining to start about the 14th. Two or three shifts are planned at the No. 1 shaft plant as boiler capacity is adjusted. Work includes reconditioning machinery, repairing the Shay engine, and preparing the High Line railroad feed.
