In Panaca Nevada district news Dan Chis Clyde and Clarence Mathews led a group to Dry Lake to drive about one hundred calves returning Friday Geo E Wadsworth visited Caliente for inventory week at the Caliente Mercantile. Nearby Ruth Morgan and principal family hosted social events while church activities and a fundraiser supper supported the meeting house.
In Alamo Nevada on February 24 Mrs. J I Sharp is convalescing from recent illness and Miss Thena Kyoon has shown slight improvement. Mr and Mrs Foremaster and family travel to Sharp for residence while Milton Kelley moves to Sharp to work for Foremaster and Chittner. A program at the Glehard District school on Washingtons Birthday delighted visitors, though plans for a separate Msome celebration were postponed due to midwinter exams. A February 2 dance by the relief society at the Alamo ball drew a large crowd. tickets cost based on the lady presenter's waist measurement, with Frank Allen drawing Mrs Nora Hummel as the nicest girl. Several locals headed home to Minesville after the event, including Wm Richard. others from Richardville attended.
