In a suit filed in Justice Garrison's court this week Karakas seeks over 140 dollars plus costs from Chorge Varakas. Gilbert was employed by Varakas at the Jacks Mohawk mine under a contract. Horetin was paid 4.26 a day and later claimed he was to perform at a lower price. The C Richmond Machinery Co of Salt Lake contracted for a pumping plant for Calera Mining in Chihuahua Mexico. The Tintke Mining and Development Co of Salt Lake owns the property. A new hoist at the Polit mine is nearly completed and expected to be in operation next week.
