Prince Consolidated Mine to Build Rail Line at Once

Work begins on the Prince Consolidated mine railroad with contracts soon to invite bids for grading and track laying. The line aims to operate by May 1, 1912, costing an estimated 100000 to 140000 dollars and serving multiple mines along a nine mile route through Pioche district. T. J. Baby born with deformed left arm near Ely

A baby girl born to Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Sears near the Gallagher feed yard in Ely appears to have the left arm amputated about two inches below the elbow. The right hand shows twitching but the infant is otherwise healthy. Father works as an asbestos laborer at McGill. mother is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Kelley of Cobre. Dr. Brock notes this is the first such malformation he has seen.
