Apportionment of Lincoln County School Funds Report

The county school fund for the 1921 22 school year totals 21 626 25 after state addition of 356 50 and 15 2 from county funds. Nevada statutes apportion 450 00 for census teachers and 4 50 per census child with the remainder per capita to raise the fund to 20 85 per child, starting the new school year. A J Richards, a Pupriuagat rancher, is recalled for jury service in Ploche.

Mrs G Tucker Passes Away in Pioche Nevada

Myre J O Tucker pioneer of 1860s Nevada died at daughter Mrs J D Campbell’s home in Pioche on Sunday after years in White Pine and Reno communities. Survived by daughters Mrs Campbell and Mrs Nellie Cook and son A L Lewhigh. burial in family plot beside husband and son. The Rebekahs hosted a youth entertainment at Odd Fellows Hall with Campbell Orchestra providing music for a large, joyful crowd.

MAL White ships rich ore by horse to Fallon Creek. Despite limited 1910s development, ore shows strong potential attracting local mining interest.
