News comes to Lewis H. Benson Record editor of the loss of his father, Lewis Benson, aged 80 years and three months, who died at Gulfport Mississippi last Saturday. Cancer of the stomach diagnosed in January. Remains sent to Anita Iowa for interment. Founder of Anita and long active in business there. A valuable riding horse in the mounted service school at Fort Riley injured severely in an exhibition after charging a hurdle reflection in a large mirror and crashing through glass.
