Democratic county convention opens in Lincoln Court House
The Lincoln county Democratic convention met in the Lincoln Court House at 10 o clock on August 8 to organize. Temporary officers Thomas W Henley and J Chaves presided with staff and a credentials committee named among delegates. Committees on organization rules and business and on credentials were formed with various delegates named. several precincts unrepresented and a preliminary adjournment taken pending committee action.
