John Evans accepted presidency while Jefferson Ray was named vice president and executive committee head. A route examination will occur, with Lew Carlile and partners planning overland travel to White Oaks. Discussions cover a possible Gould involvement and coal traffic from White Oaks to El Paso, with work anticipated to start in May.
