A bill introduced by Delegate Anthony J. Dimond would restrict salmon fishing in Alaskan waters to Territory residents. It calls for the elimination of fish traps and grants Alaskans the sole privilege to fish salmon on Territorial banks.
Superior Judge J. T. Ronald signed a writ directing the sheriff to dispossess Mr and Mrs Andrew Bahr of their two apartment houses after a foreclosure sale. The state supreme court refused to block the writ following the sale to a life insurance company.

Stannes on the Sea May 25 American golfer Little defeated Dr. William Tweddell one up in a 36 hole final to claim the British amateur title becoming the first American to win twice in consecutive years. Little led at halfway, faced jitters, recovered, and clinched the 36th hole after a late birdie attempt by Tweddell.
Judge E Coke Hill of the Fourth Division at Fairbanks resigns Friday to Washington. He is described as a holdover Republican. Rumor says Harry Pratt, attorney for Fairbanks Exploration Company, may be appointed judge.
Dimond announced that Harry Pratt, attorney for the Fairbanks Exploration Company, was recommended to replace Judge E Coke Hill of the Fourth Division who resigned yesterday. Pratt, once connected with the Democratic Organization two years ago, was not acted on by the Justice Department until All's resignation. Dimond and others expect a successor in days with Pratt under consideration for the post.
In Geneva on May 25 Italy capitulated to British and French pressure and agreed to a compromise toward settling the Italio Ethiopian dispute. The League of Nations council adopted two resolutions to arbitrate unless incidents are resolved by August 25 with a special session possible. Mussolini gave last minute sanction to the measures referencing the treaty prohibiting armed force.
Washington May 25 Administration leaders fear President Roosevelt may invite trouble for his legislative program by declaring he would veto any bill that carries a cash bonus rider. Advisors worry opponents will unite with bonus supporters to press the payment rider. Roosevelt said he would veto even the most vital administration measure if it includes the cash bonus rider.
