S H Anderson the multimillionaire left three million dollars to his widow in his will. He rose to prominence with ideas on sharing profits with workers and built a model town near St. Louis Mine built a town, housed laborers, and sold homes on small installments. The venture grew from a belief workers should share profits and own homes.
