Hydroplane Crash Near Washington Leaves Three Injured Two Missing
A hydroplane flying between Newport News and Washington with four passengers and a pilot crashed into the Potomac from about a hundred feet. Three occupants suffered severe injuries and two student aviators Louis Krant and Charlie Good are missing. Tugboats recovered four aboard. The cause is not yet confirmed, suspected steering failure.
