Sacramento reports Hiram Johnson has reversed course and will resign as governor to accept the U S Senate seat elected and accredited. Advisers say California voters mandate support, with aim to reach national capital before the upcoming special session.
Ambassador Gerard traveled from Havana to Key West bearing documentary evidence of Germany’s diplomatic plots against the United States.
