Seattle March 6 The government investigating board filed charges of unskillful ness against Heine Berger master of the Discoverer after second mate Ron Smith fell overboard in the Alaska storm November 22 Berger faces trial March 17 Captain Edward McNeilly of the Edward Luckenbach and Captain Isaac Curppa of the Italian Rel ated Present were also charged in a separate incident involving fog and a skiff rescue. Berger said the wave was the largest he ever saw and blamed an earthquake.

Everett Grocer Found Dead In Auto On Side Road
Charles A. Swanson a 60 year old Everett merchant grocer was found dead in a parked car on a little used road north of Seattle. Deputy Coroner Carl Hartwig said a tubing from the exhaust ran into the car and Swanson had been dead since yesterday. He was born in Sweden and built a career in Chicago and Seattle before moving to Everett ten years ago. He managed theatres from 1917 to 1934 and is survived by two sons.
