Van Horn to be released soon from Vanceboro jail after thirty day sentence and may be rearrested under U S pressure in Canadian extradition demands.
Dispatches from Mexico City say the vanguard of Zapata’s army is near the outskirts of the capital. Heavy fighting has occurred as Carrancistas defend the city while Villa forces advance from the north and west. Reports mention repulsed Zapata attacks and prepared city defenses.
