Noted New York Financier Is Dead

Frank A. Vanderlip, veteran New York financier and former president of the National City Bank of New York, died in a city hospital after weeks of illness. He was 72 years old and began as a machinist apprentice before rising to lead one of the world’s largest banks. He retired from active business in 1919.

Inglewood California June 30 Police center the search for a sex crazed killer who lured three girls to a park and killed them. The victims were found in a ravine near a mobile road ten miles from the park after a butler reported a blood stained man offering to sell a car for 15 dollars. The girls disappeared Saturday from Centinella Park playground during a rabbit hunting outing.
