George J. Love Former Nome Resident Dies at 75

Anchorage reports Judge George J. Love former U. S. Commissioner at Valdez and later Land Office Secretary died last night before his 76th birthday. Born in Iowa he was part of Nome Valdez and Fairbanks service and is survived by brother Major Henry Love of Florence Iowa. Funeral planned in Anchorage with Masons and Pioneers involvement.

Pan American Announces 3 Day China Flights From San Francisco

Pan American Airways unveils a three day schedule for proposed China flights to start in September or October. Flights will use a forty four passenger Martin Clipper with weekly round trips.
